The ASEAN-wide Self-Certification (AWSC) has been implemented since 20 September 2020. It is ASEAN’s latest trade facilitation initiative that allows exporters who have demonstrated their competence to comply with rules of origin requirements of the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) to self-certify the origin status for their goods to be eligible for the ATIGA tariff preferences. With the implementation of the AWSC, the Certified Exporters are now able to make out the Origin Declaration to all ASEAN Member States.
